Rack

Also known as:

Truck rack, terminal rack

The rack is the loading facility for tank trucks at a fuel terminal.

The rack is made up of pipes suspended on a pipe rack (hence the name) connected to the terminal's feul storage tanks. Tank trucks pull under the rack and are filled from above with fuel.

The rack price is a key pricing point in the refined product supply chain, reflecting pricing at the point where fuel has been loaded onto a truck and is ready for final delivery.
