Yamaguchi was cracking/asphalt refinery in Japan.

The refinery was owned by Idemitsu.

Idemitsu shut down the plant in March 2024.

1986 - FCC commissioned

1989 - Isomerization unit commissioned

2004 - Hydrofiner commissioned

2009 - CCR commissioned

2016 - Acquisition of most of Shell's interest in Showa Shell by Idemitsu

2019 - Integration into Idemitsu refinery system

2024 - Refinery operations will be shut down
