Dickinson refinery

Dickinson was a very small, very simple refinery located in Dickinson, North Dakota in the US.
The refinery was closed in 2020 and converted to a renewable diesel plant.
The refinery was 100% owned and operated by Marathon.
The refinery was built in 2006 to process local Bakken crude oil delivered by pipeline.
Marathon is converting the plant to a renewable diesel plant that will process pre-treated feed coming from a biodiesel plant in Beatrice, Nebraska that the company acquired from Flint Hills in 2019.
