BTC is a major crude oil pipeline that bring Caspian crude to the Mediterranean. The pipeline starts in Baku, Azerbaijan, passes through Tbilisi, Georgia; and terminates on the Southeastern coast of Turkey, in Ceyhan. From Ceyhan crude is loaded on ships and moved around the Mediterranean and east to Asian refiners.
