Rodeo is a project to develop a renewable diesel plant as part of a conversion of an existing refinery in Northern California, in the US.
The project is being developed by Phillips 66 using its existing San Francisco
The project will include closure of the exisiting refinery and conversion of existing hydroprocessing units to HVO units
The plant will produce a mix of renewable diesel, renewable gasolin and SAF
Feed will be a mix of UCO, fats, greases and soybean oil

120 Mga/y capacity from conversion of an existing hydrotreater (2021)
Additional 680 Mga/y from conversion of existing hydrocrackers
Addition of a new pre-treatment plant
$800MM projected total cost
Ability to expand in future to 1 Bga/y
Uses Haldor Topsoe Hydroflex technology

2024 - Expect completion and full start up of the plant
