Agbami (crude)

Agbami is a light, sweet crude oil grade from Nigeria

Agbami is produced in deep water offshore of Nigeria from the Agbami oil field, operated by Chevron.  Owners are Chevron, Equinor, and Petrobras.  The field is located approximately 354km south-east of Lagos and 112km offshore, in the central Niger Delta.

Cargos are loaded from the Agbami FPSO and move to refiners in Europe, the East Coast of North America, and to Asia

Spot prices are reported by both Platts and Argus, for 950,000-1,000,000 bbl cargoes, FOB at the Agbami FPSO. There is also an official formula price posted by NNPC

Quality

Agbami is a light, very sweet crude oil, preferred by refiners with limited hydrotreating capacity and with no bottoms conversion.
