Refinery history

1946 - Refinery commissioned by Hunt Oil with 3.5 kbpd capacity, focused on asphalt production

1976 - Third major expansion to 35 kb/d

1981 - Coker added

1984 - Pipeline connection to Colonial added

1986 - Name change to Hunt Refining

1991 - Capacity increase to 40 kb/d

2010 - Expansion and upgrade project, coker, hydrogen plant,  and CCR reformer expanded; hydrocracker and C5 isomerization added

2013 - Heated rail car unloading added to allow access to Western Canadian crude
