Sturgeon refinery

Sturgeon is a small, low complexity refinery located 45 miles Northeast of Edmonton,  Alberta,  in Canada.

The refinery is owned and operated by Northwest Redwater Partnership (NWR).

The refinery processes local oilsands crude (dilbit) and uses carbon capture and storage to reduce its emissions footprint

Sturgeon is a low complexity plant with only hydrocracking and no other secondary processing units
