2017 - Ruhr Oel JV dissolved and BP took full control of Gelsenkirchen refinery
2017 - BP acquired 50% interest in Campana refinery through combination of Pan American Energy with Axion
2020 - BP sold remaining stake in Bayernoil refinery to Rosneft
2021 - BP ceased refining operations at Kwinana refinery in Australia, and began conversion to renewable diesel production
2022 - Marsden Point (New Zealand) - NZRC (BP & ExxonMobil) plant closed and converted to an import terminal
2022 - Durban (SAPREF) - BP and Shell announced indefinite shut down of the refinery
