Jieyang is a greenfield refinery built by CNPC in China.

The refinery is owned and operated by CNPC.

Total project cost of $9.3B.

Operations commenced in December 2022 and full operations in early 2023

Reformer - 159 kbpd - Continuous (CCR) unit

Refinery history

2012 - Construction began as JV project between CNPC and PDVSA

2015 - Construction suspended

2018 - Construction resumed without PDVSA

2021 - CDU installed

2022 - Began receiving crude, with full start up in December
