The refinery is 100% owned and operated by Valero.
The refinery processes heavy sour crude.

2023 - Added new coker (55 kbpd) and sulfur plant. $975MM project. Wood SYDEC coker technology.
2025 - Building an adjacent renweable diesel plant (50% SAF potential) with capacity of 30 kbpd. Part of Diamond Green JV with Darling Ingredients.
