Martinez is a project to develop a renewable diesel plant in Northern California, in the US.
The project is being developed by a 50/50 JV between Marathon and Neste.
The project is shutting down and converting the existing Marathon Martinez refinery.
Product will be divided between owners.
Feed for the plant will be animal fats, distillers corn oil, and soybean oil. Owners will share responsibility for feedstock sourcing.
