The refinery is 100% owned and operated by PBF.

The refinery primarily processes heavy sour crude supplied by pipeline from the San Joaquin basin.

Products are distributed across the Southern California area.

1907 - Built by Vacuum Oil

1931 - Merged with Socony to form Socony Vacuum

1966 - Renamed Mobil

1967 - Hydrocracker added

2000 - Merged with Exxon to form Exxon Mobil

2016 - Acquired by PBF
