Toledo (Cenovus) refinery
The Toledo refinery is a medium sized, high conversion refinery located in Toledo, Ohio.
The refinery is owned and operatd by Cenovus.
The refinery processes heavy sour crude from Western Canada.
In August 2022, Cenovus announced plans to acquire BP's share of the refinery and become the sole owner and operator. The deal closed in March 2023.

1921 - Refinery built by Standard Oil of Ohio (Sohio)
1947- Original coker DC-A added - ABB design
1962 - Hydrocracker added
1968 - Sohio merged with BP
1982 - DC-A Coker retrofitted to Foster Wheeler design
1999 - Second coker added (DC-B)
2008 - BP and Husky form 50/50 JV
2013 - Two reformers and hydrogen plant replaced with a single reformer
2021 - Husky merges into Cenovus
2023 - Cenovus acquired BP's share of the refinery and assumed operatorship
