The RNEST refinery is a project under way to build a large, high conversion refinery located south of Recife in Ipojuca, Pernambuco state in Brazil.
The refinery is 100% owned and operated by Petrobras.
The refinery is partially complete. When fully operational the first train will have 115 kb/d capacity, and a second train of the same size is in progress.
