Ardmore refinery

Ardmore is a small, medium complexity refinery in Ardmore, Oklahoma in the US.

The refinery is 100% owned and operated by Valero.

The refinery primarily processes light sweet crude from the Permian Basin and from the crude supply hub at Cushing Oklahoma. There is pipeline supply from Cushing via the Red River pipeline and the Eagle North pipeline.

Product is sold in the local market and across the Midwest via the Magellan pipeline system.

Primarily produces fuels and asphalt.

Ardmore is small but medium complexity, with an RCC and a hydrocracker unit.  It primarily runs light sweet domestic crude and supplies product to the surrounding region.

RCC - 30 kbpd - Stone and Webster technology. Replaced a gasoil FCC in 1982. Has a 2-stage regenerator.  Processes hydrotreated feed.

Reformer - 21 kbpd - Continuous, Platformer

Naphtha hydrotreater - 27 kbpd

Distillate hydrotreater - 35 kbpd - ULSD

VGO hydrotreater - 34 kbpd

FCC gasoline hydrotreater - 17 kbpd

Alkylation - 7 kbpd - HF acid

Hydrogen production - 27 MMscfd

Asphalt plant - 15 kbpd

Sulfur plant - 200 t/d
