Industrial gasoil is a diesel range light product used for non-transportation purposes.

It differs from diesel primarily in not having a cetane limit and also often having a slightly higher end point than diesel. This allows it to contain more of the low-cetane diesel range blend stocks such as LCO.

There are different varieties of industrial gasoil based on specific end uses:

Home heating oil - used as a furnace fuel in homes and commercial buildings

Industrial gasoil - used as a fuel in industrial furnaces

Marine gasoil - used as a fuel in ship boilers
