The refinery is owned and operated by Preem.

1988 - Mild hydrocracker commisioned

1994 - DHT and C5 isom units commissioned

2002 - propylene recovery unit commissioned

2003 - acquired by Preem

2006 - VGO hydrocracker commissioned

2019 - vacuum unit commissioned

2027 - plan to convert isocracker to renewable diesel at a cost of $530m.
