The refinery is owned and operated by ExxonMobil
The refinery is on two sites separated by water, one on the mainland and one directly opposite on Jurong Island
The site is integrated with ExxonMobil's Singapore Chemicals Plant and Jurong Aromatics Plant, both on Jurong Island

Jurong is a medium complexity plant with visbreaker and asphalt for bottoms upgrading as well as a hydrocracker and base oil plant.

Atmospheric distillation - 592 kbpd
Reformer - two units: a smaller Semiregen unit and a Continuous (CCR) unit
Refinery history
1966 - Mobil commissioned its Jurong refinery on Pioneer road with 18 kbpd
1970 - Esso commissioned its refiney on Pulau Ayer Chawan (now Jurong Island) with 90 kbpd
1993 - Mobil added a hydrocracker, reformer and aromatics plant
1999 - Mobil and Exxon merge and refineries are integrated
2001 - Singapore Chemical plant commissioned
2013 - Diesel hydrotreater added
