Bonga is a heavy, sweet crude oil grade produced in Nigeria

Production comes from the Bonga oil field, in deep water off the coast of Nigeria.  The field is operated by Shell, and is owned by Shell, ExxonMobil, Total, and Agip

Crude is loaded from the Bonga FPSO

Spot prices are reported by both Platts and Argus, for 950,000-1,000,000 bbl cargoes, FOB at the Bonga FPSO. There is also an official formula price posted by NNPC
