It is the major export grade of crude for Saudi Arabia and a global crude benchmark.

Arab light is mainly produced from the super giant Ghawar oil field, but also contains volumes from other fields.

Arab light is marketed in all of the major refining centers including Europe, Asia and North America.

Arab light is priced using regional formulas based on different benchmarks in each region.
