BFOE is a basket of light-sweet crude oil grades that can be used to satisfy the Dated Brent contract.  This currently includes Brent, Forties, Oseberg, Ekofisk, Troll and WTI (Midland).

The contract was created to add volume to the market for Brent as production from the Brent field has declined.
